Instasmile - They ARE FRAUD

They have not sent any product. And keep saying the impressions are wrong, and now asking for more money to send some more clay for new impression. They have stolen over 1000.00 and refusing to refund because they sent one set of clay already. Very rude customer service and refuse to allow you to speak to a manager. One star is too many. Will be filing a report with the better business bureau, credit card companies, and reporting them for illegal practices. Do NOT go through them!

Same thing happened to me. They are scammers.

I never received my product. After 2 video calls they told me to take pictures of my mouth and then said I'm not suitable.

I still making payments and no refund. I hate them so much.

Instasmile - Never received product

Instasmile charged me $449.00 and never sent me the product. They also refused to give me a refund because it was against their policy to do so. Now im stuck with a bill i can barely pay. Mike Roy

I had this same issue - I filed a complaint with the BBB and they agreed to a refund. It clearly states on their terms and conditions they have 60 DAYS to send you the finished product or contact you to work out why they haven't sent it.

They didn't initiate any contact with me at all, just fed me a bunch of nonsense. If you still don't have your final product, file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC.

Details
I sent my impression pictures to instasmile almost 2 weeks ago and still no review. When I tried to reach them and confirm a date, they said more or less they would get to it when they could and then they were backed up. This was after being first told that review would be within 4 or 5 days, and after reading some promotional material that said it would be a 24 to 48 hour turnaround on review of impression pictures. Is instasmile a scam?

I placed an order through their facebook ad a few months ago and never received any shipment. The money was deducted from my credit card account so i know they got paid.

Instasmile - Waiting

I ordered my Instasmile in January after three failed attempts they are on the way.... (March 9th) . However, I got very discouraged. The way I passed mine was watching someone on YouTube instead of the Instasmile demonstration. I’ve read good/bad reviews throughout. That’s with everything you purchase. I will write another review whenever I receive them.

I ordered my uppers in FEBRUARY 2017, Every single impression had failed and i have had over 20 impressions sent in. The last 8 were done by the orthodontist people who do impressions all day and they still failed.

Since I can not afford to keep purchasing extra puty, I have asked for a refund. They claim a refund is in process they took my acct number for direct deposit since they no longer go thru paypal and AFTER 26 calls and 3 months i STILL have no refund. 1st, there is a glitch in their system... 2nd...

the accounting dept is in the UK and they apparently never call the US side of the business. Since they are only web based, they only email each other. Every time I call, they claim my call is noted as escalated. (that does no good either) I have spoken to a manager named Chris, he claimed to be texting (chatting with someone from the UK but there was a glitch that they could not disclose to me for some reason) and promised to call me back once they have an answer..

again no call back from them. I call them back. same *** different day. they emailed the UK and asked for my refund..

but guess what? They don't respond AGAIN!! Chris will contact me soon as they do... guess what?

Nothing...They keep giving you the run around if your impressions fail (and they will).... they have no problem and no issue with accepting your money but they sure do have glitches and issues when its time to refund you your money when impressions fail! I have never ever had to deal with a company so unprofessional in my life. Buyers BEWARE!

NOTHING should be this damn difficult to go through. I believe it is time to look into calling my uncle who is an attorney to get my money back and maybe even get a class action going .I am so tired and frustrated. Note that when they do refund you, they keep 100$ of it for processing and their fees on their end because you know they need to get paid for such great customer service and all. I have contacted the UK side and the USA side and I have NO product, and NO refund of my money since FEB 2017 LAST YEAR!!

I would never want any of you to go through this. BEWARE of this shady company. I SHOULD BE GETTING THE FULL AMOUNT I PAID FOR GOING THRU THIS PROCESS> THE UK SIDE NEEDS TO ANSWER THEIR EMAIL FROM THE INSTA SMILE IN THE USA, YOU HAVE MANAGEMENT CONTACTING YOU REGARDING MY ACCOUNT AND YOU NEVER REPLY TO THEM. I have received the veneer for the top, but the fit isn't right. I sent Instasmile a picture, and today, October 24, 2017, I sent Instasmile a video.

In addition, I had to redo the lower veneer due to an engineering problem. This experience with Instasmile hasn't been exemplary.

However, I can't wait until this process is OVER!!! I hope that I will receive my correct Instasmile before January 1, 2018.
